"I have no fear of losing you, for you aren’t an object of my property, or anyone else’s. I love you as you are, without attachment, without fears, without conditions, without egoism, trying not to absorb you. I love you freely because I love your freedom, as well as mine."

This book is fantastic and, well, this cover doesn’t really need comment.

Dionne Warwick - Don’t Make Me Over

Bacharach >

This song is so cute and sad. Imagine being a woman back in the day. Nowadays it’s sort of common knowledge that men that tell you how to dress and behave in relationships are showing signs of being emotionally and sometimes physically abusive. Back then it just made for a really sad, relatable song. Also how good’s the tv set, I wish I had a room full of giant balloons to sing in.
